	In the 80's one of the busiest big bands in the country!

	Back in the 80's, our big band worked nearly 6 or 7 nights a week for nearly 4 years on the east coast of South Florida. Up and down the coast we went, playing a different place each night....Frances Langford's Outrigger, at Jensen Beach, to the Bounty Lounge in Boca, where we had on, some Sundays, 750 people dancing. Wednesdays at Club Boca, Chuck and Harolds in Palm Beach to Charlie's Crab in Jupiter and Ft.Lauderdale, and the FLAME RESTAURANT, in North Palm Beach, where it all started, with Billie Lowe, Tom Davis, and me. and where we recorded this CD.... Thanks to Mr. Charles Davis of New York, Palm Beach. and Michigan for producing this album back in the 80's. He was a songwriter, piano player, and one of the biggest fans of the band and showed his love of music.....
	All we did was follow the rule....	'If they're tapping their feet it's right.'

1. FLY ME TO THE MOON	Billie Lowe, in fine form, singing the classic swinger with Paul Chafin on the tenor solo.
2. BESAME MUCHO	Billie, again, cooks on this latin/swing big band goodie featuring the big band.
3. SUMMERWIND	Frank Romano, singing the classic Sinatra tune to a different chart.
4. THE NEARNESS OF YOU	Ron Davisson just walked up, picked up his alto and started playing, the rhythm section joined in and the rest is a nice spur-of-the moment, unplanned little jazz interpretation.
5. LADY IS A TRAMP	Frank again, swinging this classic Sinatra tune with the big band 'a cookin'.
6. WELL ALLRIGHT	Billie Lowe, cooks on this swinging big band Shuffle, arranged by Ron and dedicated to Count Basie, featuring Ron on the Alto solo.
7. MACK THE KNIFE	Frank Romano, singing the famous Bobby Darren chart with the big band.
8. ALL OF ME	Billie Lowe, swings her way through this ageless classic.
9. UNDER MY SKIN	Frank Romano, singing Frank Sinatra with the big band.
10. CABARET	Billie Lowe, cooks this Walt Stuart chart her way.
11. FOGGY DAY	The big band, cooks this chart with Mike Burns on a bone solo.
12. SOMEONE TO LIGHT UP MY LIFE	Ron and Billie sing this beautiful big band Jobim/Sinatra bossa. Ron's the arranger and Elecric piano solist.
13. STRAIGHTEN UP AND FLY RIGHT	Ron, Billie and the big band, cook Ron's chart with Ron on a pocket trpt solo, in this Nat King Cole hit.
14. TAKING A CHANCE ON LOVE	Billie and the big band, cook this great big band chart.
15. SKYLARK	Billie turns ballad singer with this sensitive performance of the great Hoagy Carmichael classic.
16. ON THE STREET WHERE YOU LIVE	The great Brass section is featured on the next two songs with Stew Brenner on top and Howard Hedges on the bottom.
17. ON A CLEAR DAY	This one features the fine bone section anchored by the larger-than-life Howard Hedges on bass bone.
